spent 2 days at the hotel, sightseeing in Bangkok. Great hotel! Excellent staff - sympathetic, always happy to help, an interesting conversationalist. The hotel exceeded our expectations! it is located next to the royal palace. little. very cozy. the rooms are simple, small, but we only spend the night! the bed is very comfortable. breakfast is excellent. We wanted to be close to the major tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho and wanted to avoid the expensive, fancy hotels. We decided to book Neighbor Phuthon after reading the reviews, and we're glad we did. Located about a block off a busy street, the hotel has a real neighborhood feel and is remarkably quiet. We had the family room, which, though not large and very simple, was very clean and comfortable (with the most comfortable bed of our trip). The room has air conditioning, WiFi, and plenty of electrical outlets. Breakfasts are really good—each day brought different Thai breakfast treats that were delicious. The staff are helpful and friendly, and it felt like coming home each day after our explorations. It's about a 15 minute walk to a metro station, and the Grand Palace and Wat Pho are also about a 15 minute walk away. It's easy to catch cheap tuk-tuks and taxis near the hotel. Definitely recommend as a local alternative to the big hotels.

Si vous aimez les petites structures authentiques, allez y ! Nous avons aimé le bâtiment avec son air colonial, la salle de déjeuner ouverte au RDC sur la rue et la place arborée, la vie du quartier bon enfant avec les joueurs de foot et quelques restaurants de rue. Mais aussi la gentillesse de notre hôte, serviable, souriant, qui a toujours répondu à nos questions avec beaucoup d'amabilité. La cuisine du petit déjeuner est aussi remarquable : vous mangez un vrai repas, et jamais le même, servi avec goût. Ainsi vous découvrez la cuisine Thaïe dès le matin. La chambre familiale (plus spacieuse) est joliment décorée, comme toutes les autres, simplement mais avec goût, très propre et spacieuse, avec une salle d'eau impeccable, la climatisation en parfait état. Nous avons aussi aimé cette volonté de bannir le pastique le plus possible pour tous les produits de toilette, l'eau. Merci pour ce beau séjour à proximité immédiate des grands sites du palais royal et de wat pho. Un petit havre de paix familial au coeur de la ville sans le vacarme de la circulation.
Sehr guter Gastgeber - höflich, zuvorkommend und super hilfsbereit, sehr gutes abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, die Lage war perfekt um die meisten Orte per Fuß erreichen zu können (10 Minuten zu Grand Palace), das kleine zugehörige Café hat einen tollen Charme

Neighbor Phuthon is in a great location, close to everything you need for a stay in Bangkok. The atmosphere and facilities are perfect and provided a really nice space to relax away from the hustle and bustle whilst still having a good viewpoint for the local area and and all it has to offer. The local area has lots of traditional food and drink options and we were spoilt for choice on where to go! The owner is exceptionally friendly and attentive and really makes sure guests have a great stay with everything they need. Its an absolute must for Bangkok and we will defiantly be back.
